My summer in Sheffield

So I spent three months in Sheffield this summer and had a great time. I was there for work, not holiday, but the work was interesting and I love going there. This was my third summer working at the same place. 

Sheffield is not the most exciting city so at the weekends I often went on day trips to cities in the area and there is loads to see: Manchester, Liverpool, York, Chester, Leeds etc. The Peak District, the national park I mentioned in class, is also very near so really I was spoilt for choice.

This is Chester. It is a fabulous little city and I would definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area. There is a  Roman city wall that you can walk on as well the ruins of a Roman amphitheater.

This is the Peak District - and some sheep! if you are into walking or hiking, this is a great place.
