This year I had really interesting and enjoyable summer. It started with
travelling to Copenhagen on late May and spending a week there. The main reason
of this trip was academic purpose but fortunately we, my wife and I, had chance
to visit different parts of the city and find some historical places and tasty food. However, the
weather was a bit windy but it was totally fine.
The second attractive part of my summer was on July. One of my friends, who has a car, left Finland for a month and at the same time my parents had applied for Finnish visa. So I borrowed my friend’s car to use it during the time when my family is here. The visa process took much longer time and I thought that I myself could also take benefit from the car and enjoy it. Therefore,I drove the car to those amazing nature where I had never been there.
The Third part was on meddle of August, when my parents, wife and me traveled
to Paris. Despite the fact that Paris carries a big name between historical and
famous cities, most of the streets and public places were so smelly which bothered
me and my family.
Just a week after going my family back to home, we had to be guest of Mercedes
Benz city, Karlsruhe, in terms of attending to a conference. There was not a
flight with reasonable price to there, so we went to Frankfurt first, spending
one night there, and then reached Karlsruhe by train. I found Germans very kind, like
Finns, but more outgoing than Finns.
During the conference we were be able to visit one of the most beautiful pales nearby the city and walk around as well as watching a nice light shows which were open to public free of charge and anyone was be able to enjoy them. I took a video from the light show and attached to this post. So if the video file works, please let me know your idea about it.
I took this photo from a part of the pales garden. It looks like a tunnel to dream land, isn't it?
What do you think about it? How could it be possible in our real world?
Find out at the end of this text...
Any way, we chose flight from Zurich for return way where I could easily compare the goods prices with German ones. I checked out some goods and found out that the prices are double or even triple in Zurich in compare with Frankfurt.

A very nice post! And the video works, an impressive light show. The tunnel photo is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. :)

Mahdi, in the second photo, what is the food that they are making?
ReplyDeleteSorry for late reply,
DeleteIt is a kind of Persian Kebab which is made by marinated lamb.
If you are interested, there is a good Persian restaurant near Sello and you and others may want to taste it there. :)
Ah yes, I remember:-) We can ask if people want to go.
DeleteMahdi The light show in Karlsruhe is fabulous. I hope that next New Year Evening in Helsinki is a flight show. Or sometimes at another time when it's dark.
ReplyDeleteHello,
DeleteThat is a great idea. It could be so interesting for both Finns and tourists.
